How do you earn cash while surfing the net?

Advertisers pay millions of dollars each year to put their adds on web sites, hoping that you will see them as you surf on by.  They don't really know who is seeing their ads, they can only guess by the content of the page their add is on what interests you have.  Now there is a better way, for them and for you!

New companies are springing up all the time with new ways for advertisers to reach targetted audiences.  Its somewhat like the ratings system for tv, users are paid to watch tv so advertisers will know who watches what, and can better place their commercials.  This same concept is now making its way onto the internet.

These companies listed here sell advertising space on their ad software.  When you sign up you fill in some basic information about yourself and your interests so they can target these ads better, thus getting paid more by the advertisers, and being able to pay you more.  All of your information is strictly confidential and will not be sold off to any 3rd parties.  If you are still worried about your privacy, there is nothing keeping you from giving them false information.

By signing up for these companies you will be one of those lucky people who get paid for what you would be doing anyway!  Most of the companies pay you from 40¢ on up to a dollar per hour to use their software while you are connected to the internet.  This may not seem like much, but its possible to use several at a time, making $5 an hour easily.

All of these programs also pay you for the time people you refer to the program are online, usually up to 4 to 6 levels deep.  This can quickly make $5 an hour seem like peanuts, let me give you an example.  If you refer 5 people to a program (quite easy to do, just tell your friends how to make money for surfing the net...who would say no?).  Now those 5 people all refer 5 more of their friends, that makes  30 overall referals.  Now those 25 refer 5 each, thats 125, a total of 155 referals.  The average referal rate is usually around 5¢ to 10¢ per hour, with 155 referals at 5¢ per hour thats $7.75 an hour, for only one program! And most programs allow a couple more levels of referals, 125 becomes 625, and 625 becomes 3125.  You can see that this can lead to serious ammounts of money.  Check out the referal calculator to see how the average program pays out depending on referals.

The problem with this is not everyone signs up 5 people.  Some refer many more, and some not at all.  The trick is to get in early, sign up as soon as possible, that way referals come easier to you, and to the people you refer.  Some of the newer programs I have been able to sign up 40 people without much effort, while the older ones I had a hard time getting 10 referals.
